A wedding film checklist for couples
Your wedding happens once. Here is what to sort out early so the film is as good as the day.
Scene 01Int. the note
Share the full programme
Send the filmmaker the timings for the traditional ceremony, the church or mosque, and the reception. Note the moments that matter to your family, such as the money spraying or the entrance of the bride's family.
Think about sound
Vows and speeches are often lost to generators and loud music. Ask the planner to let the crew put a small microphone on the officiant and the main speakers.
Light for the evening
Receptions in halls can be dark. A filmmaker with their own lights and permission to use them makes a big difference after sunset.
List the must-have shots
Grandparents, the first dance, the cake and the family photo. Share a short list, and trust the crew with the rest.

Next notePlanning a music video on a Nigerian budget
A great music video is not about the most expensive camera. It is about a clear idea, the right location and a plan that respects the money.
Can Reelhouse help plan our shoot?
Yes. A planning call is free, and our producers can build the schedule with you.
Do you film outside Abuja?
Yes, anywhere in Nigeria and abroad, with travel quoted up front.
Final sceneYour project, Abuja and beyond
Got a story worth filming?
Tell us the idea, the date and the budget you have in mind. A producer replies within one working day with questions, not a sales pitch.
